Shadow of the Stars - Friedensreich Hundertwasser.

The painting "Shadow of the Stars" is not the most typical in the work of Friedensreich Hundertwasser. But if you look closely at the picture, then you immediately understand - and here the author has not moved away from his favorite topic. On the face of a person we see an uneven row of windows. The window, as an element, seems to go through the whole work of the master, and moreover, the main leitmotif.

At first glance, the picture is a vivid example of abstract creativity, but in fact, each of his works has its own concept, though the meaning of the “encoded” message is not always clear. Hundertwasser actually left no explanation for his artwork. We are forced to draw all the clues from the literary works of Hundertwasser, explaining the main theses of his style. The dominant style of the artist was transnational automation.

The artist claimed that a certain unknown force that he feels from the outside controls his hand. That is why Friedensreich compared painting with a certain religious activity.

The painting "Shadow of the Stars" is very decorative. It seems that it is entirely woven from some wonderful motives. The juxtaposition of colors - yellow, green, blue, pink, makes the picture flicker. The master himself claimed that he could sit for a long time near his work in the dark to watch this flicker, and he fancied how metamorphoses begin to occur with the same color - it either starts to lighten, then darkens, or takes on depth.

It is impossible not to note the geometry of the Hundertwasser drawing. Moreover, the artist’s geometry is also unusual - there is not a single perfectly straight line, everything is approximately and nominally. All the elements seem to dance, obeying an unknown rhythm set by the master.
